General Description
The HMEC 450 is an active noise-reduction pilot's headset with closed ear protector headphones and 'NoiseGard' active noise compensation for use in helicopters, propeller and turbo-prop aircraft.

Manufactured by the world renowned Sennheiser company the 'HMEC 450' combines state-of-the art technology with unique wearing comfort - the optimum solution for the noisy cockpits of propeller and turbo-prop aircraft.
It's light weight, extra soft leather-look ear pads and comfortably padded headband ensures the best wearing comfort even on long flights.
The headset has an attractive modern design in a silver-metallic look.
The 'NoiseGard' electronics and the specially developed closed ear protector headphones achieve noise compensation up to 40db.
The entire electronics are integrated into the ear cups.
If the supply voltage is switched off the HMEC 450 works as a conventional passive headset. The high quality headphone capsules and the noise-compensated electret microphone are a guarantee of unsurpassed audio transmission.
