For detection in a survival situation this is a multi-purpose marking and distress light which is an absolutely necessary part of the survival kit for all pilots. It's optional torch function also doubles for use in all situations.
Designed for the aviation, marine, emergency and leisure sectors it is manufactured to exacting standards of quality control, which include NATO AQAP 4 and ISO 9001, it incorporates the latest technology, ensuring a rugged but lightweight unit, which uses standard and easily replaceable AA batteries.
Weighing only 150 grams including the two batteries it is a handy, pocket sized emergency marker light suitable for a wide range of emergency service applications.
The 'Personal Multi Purpose Strobe Light & Torch' is waterproofed to 50m in depth and features two seperate light sources - a high intensity xenon strobe (visible over 6 miles) and a low power torch.
The two AA batteries give a continuous operation endurance of approximately 12 hours in strobe mode and 60 hours in torch mode.
Fitted with a robust belt clip as standard which can also be attached to a life-jacket.
