These 1:500,000 VFR France Aeronautical Charts are the most commonly used for detailed VFR navigation by all aircraft flying in French airspace.
Produced by the French Civil Aviation Authority to ICAO standards and divided into 4 French regions they are available individually or as a complete set and offer the essential VFR flight information for all pilots.
They show airspace information SFC/5000 ft. above mean sea level or SFC/2000 ft. above ground level (whichever is higher).
Restricted Airspace, Danger Areas and Radio-Navigation Information, including locations of NDB, VOR, VOR/DME, TACANS and VORTACs. are also shown.
This ICAO approved series are the most popular topographical VFR charts for France and are the standard charts in general use in France by French pilots and therefore you can be fairly sure the others flying VFR in your vicinity are looking at the same information as you!
