The HMU-1 is designed to overcome the problems of incompatibility between aviation headsets of different makes and models when used in the same aircraft. The unit is supplied ready to use with a PP3 battery - simply plug a headset into the matching unit and the HMU-1 into the aircraft and the unit works automatically.
The most comfortable Super Seal is made with heat sensitive Gel Liquid / Foam and offers the best noise attenuation. Conventional foam ear seals and liquid ear seals provide excellent attenuation.
